How does my map get uncovered?
HopMap uncovers 30 metres around every place you have been: from the photos on your phone (where each was taken) and from where you go while location is on, in the background too if you turn it on in Settings.
How do collections work?
Follow a collection, like the best sights of Rome or every country, and its places wait on your map. When you reach one it is ticked off. Worth a Visit shows the places near you from every collection.
A place I visited is not ticked off.
A spot counts when you are within 50 metres of it, an area (a country, a park, a castle) when you are inside it. Check that location is allowed for HopMap, and for a place from long ago, that a photo taken there has its location.
What does HopMap Pro include?
One purchase, no subscription: your map backed up and on every phone you sign in to, as many collections as you like, collections created with AI, and a place on the leaderboards.
I bought HopMap Pro on another phone.
Open Settings, then HopMap Pro, and tap Restore Purchase with the same Apple account. To bring your map along, sign in with the same account on both phones.
How do I delete my data?
Settings has Delete Data (the map on this phone) and, signed in, Delete Account (the account and everything stored with it on our server).
Who sees my map?
Only you. Your photos never leave your phone, and where you have been is never shared or sold. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
